About the role As the Deputy Manager, youll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service, supporting the Registered Manager and helping lead a team that provides safe, structured and person-centred support. Youll help ensure high-quality practice, strong communication and a consistent approach across the staff team. Your responsibilities will include: • Supporting the Registered Manager with the daily operational running of the service, • Leading, supervising and developing staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred support, • Ensuring Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches are embedded in everyday practice, • Contributing to assessments, risk management and support planning, • Overseeing rota planning, shift coordination and staff allocation, • Supporting MDT communication, family involvement and partnership working, • Ensuring accurate documentation, incident reporting and governance requirements Shifts may include occasional evenings, weekends or on-call duties depending on service need.
