We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and innovative SEN Teacher to join our team and support pupils with diverse learning needs. The successful candidate will create an inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environment that promotes high expectations, independence, and positive outcomes for all learners. Key Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with SEN. Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), behaviour plans, and personalised support strategies. Use a range of teaching approaches, interventions, and resources to support pupils with varying needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, PMLD). Work closely with the SENCO, teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to ensure effective multi-disciplinary support. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages emotional well-being, resilience, and engagement. Monitor progress and maintain accurate records, reporting regularly to parents, carers, and external agencies. Adapt teaching methods to incorporate assistive technologies, sensory supports, and communication systems where required (e.g., PECS, Makaton, AAC).
