HR Generalist (Fixed-Term Contract) Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 pro rata Location: Hybrid (2–3 days in the office) We are currently seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our client on a fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a standalone role and enjoys shaping and improving HR processes within a growing organisation. The Role Reporting into senior leadership, you will take full ownership of the HR function, providing both strategic and operational support across the business. This is a varied role where you will play a key part in developing HR frameworks and supporting managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle. Key Responsibilities • Implement and improve HR processes, policies, and procedures, • Review and update the company handbook, • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, partnering with hiring managers, • Design and embed effective recruitment and onboarding processes, • Act as the main point of contact for Employee Relations matters, including:, • Sickness absence, • Grievances, • Performance and conduct issues, • Support initiatives to improve staff retention and engagement, • Coordinate and support training and development activities, • Oversee and manage staff appraisal processes About You • Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally operating in a standalone capacity, • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice, • Confident managing Employee Relations cases independently, • Experience improving or implementing HR processes and policies, • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, • CIPD qualification (or working towards) desirable What’s on Offer • Competitive salary of £40,000 – £50,000 pro rata, • Hybrid working (2–3 days office-based), • Opportunity to make a real impact in a standalone HR role
