Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is preferred at point of application, if not then you must be enrolled on the Level 5 within 6 months of starting in post., • Knowledge: Understanding of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements., • Skills: Efficient in; planning, organizing, budget control, resource allocation, and team leadership., • Communication: Confidence in effective spoken and written communication., • Understanding Trauma: Knowledge of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties, including managing challenging behaviour., • Driving License: Full UK required.
