Overview We are seeking an experienced Financial Control Manager to oversee the financial operations and reporting for the organisation at a group level. This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the group’s financial reporting, FCA reporting, as well as driving improvements in financial processes and controls. In this role you will play a pivotal role in managing the group’s financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will lead a team of finance professionals, ensuring the delivery of timely and accurate financial information to support strategic decision-making and business growth. How you'll make an impact • Support Wider Group finance activities in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP/US GAAP and other relevant accounting standards. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders., • Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial controls and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies., • Lead the coordination of internal and external audits, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors. Ensure timely resolution of audit queries and implementation of recommendations., • Oversee and deliver FCA reporting requirements and ensure strong capital requirement tracking mechanisms are in place., • Monitor and manage group working capital, in particular around aged debt and commission reconciliations., • Lead, mentor, and develop the financial control team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement., • Identify and implement improvements to financial systems, processes, and reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy., • Support financial due diligence and integration activities for acquisitions, ensuring alignment with group financial policies and standards., • Provide appropriate financial support to the CFO and wider teams as required. About You • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), • Significant experience in a senior finance role, preferably within a group finance or financial controller capacity., • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS and/or local GAAP (US GAAP desirable)., • Expert in FCA reporting for a MiFIDPRU firm with IFPR experience, • Experience in managing external audits and liaising with auditors.
