Document Controller This is a 12 month contract with likelihood of extension. Hybrid working with flexible approach to office (based in Cheshire)/home working. Can be part-time or full-time hours. Day rate flexible depending on experience. Inside IR35 role. Objective: To manage and lead document control activities, experience in Quality Control process management to ensure the successful execution and delivery of the project. Key Responsibilities: • Establish and maintain a structured document management system for the project, ensuring that all documentation is accurately categorised, stored, and easily retrievable., • Manage the flow of documents, including creating, reviewing, distributing, and archiving project documentation (e.g., contracts, drawings, specifications, reports)., • Ensure version control and track changes to documents, maintaining an up-to-date record of revisions., • Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission and approval of documents in compliance with project schedules., • Prepare and maintain document status reports for internal and external stakeholders., • Organises technical and administrative documents so teams can easily locate the latest approved version., • Maintains and tracks project deliverables, such as drawings, design reports, technical specifications, and vendor data., • Knowledge and experience in Project lifecycles, Document Control, Quality Assurance, • Some Quantity Surveying knowledge (e.g. budgeting, cost control, estimating, financial reporting) to be able to support the QS when required, • Industrial process plant/Oil and gas experience preferable, • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams

The Opportunity Due to an internal move, are looking to add to our existing team and recruit for a part time Financial Controller. Reporting to the Commercial Director, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of MTT s future plans and play a key role in the business. The Role We re looking for someone to manage the Accounts function and team, which includes an Accounts Payable Administrator, and lead on the following activities: Preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring these are produced on a timely basis post month end. Monthly management accounts, to include all adjustments in respect of contract adjustments, work in progress movements and proper income recognition. Preparation of cash flows, budgets, and comparisons to actual results. Cash flow management Preparation of KPI s, KPI monitoring, and profit improvement and efficiency measures Reviewing internal systems and procedures to monitor risk, efficiencies, and accuracy of timely information Liaising with the company accountants in respect of year end accounts preparation, audit and tax The Candidate Our ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (or qualified by relevant appropriate experience) and have relevant experience within industry or well-rounded accountancy practice experience. We d especially like to hear from you if you have experience in the engineering sector and/or SMEs. However, we are open to candidates from different backgrounds. As well as focusing on the fundamental financial activities, we re looking for someone who is curious and able to identify ways to make continuous improvements, whether that be a way of working, a process, or system. We re looking for someone that is able to build effective working relationships internally and externally, and is able to translate financial information into clear and concise business updates. As this is a part time role, we are also looking for someone who is organised and a great communicator. The Package The salary range for this role is 60-75,000 (FTE).
