Synechron is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Murex Integration Lead to join our global banking team. This is a technical, functional, and business-facing leadership role responsible for managing the integration, migration, and re-platforming of front and middle office platforms onto MX.3. You will lead a small team through complex initiatives, ensuring seamless system decommissioning, migration activities, and platform enhancements to support trading, risk, and back-office operations across multiple asset classes. Key Responsibilities • Platform Migration & Re-Platforming: Drive the re-platforming of the bank’s front and middle office systems onto MX.3, including the decommissioning of legacy systems such as MXG2000, OBS, ACBS, and Eximbills, • Team Leadership: Lead a team of 8 specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and coordination across system migrations, new entity roll-outs, and platforms upgrades, • Integration Management: Design, develop, and deliver MXML workflow solutions, • Trade Lifecycle & Product Setup: Collaborate with front office and risk teams to gather functional requirements, model as-is and to-be states, and optimise booking models for FX cash/options, bonds, IR, bond futures/options, syndicated lending, and letters of credit, • Pre-Trade & Pricing Templates: Define and implement pre-trade rules, pricing templates, and instrument setup, • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise closely with front office, risk, and operations teams to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure the successful delivery of the migration projects, • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, integration specs, testing, and operational procedures to ensure compliance and audit readiness Skills & Experience Technical Expertise: • Extensive experience with Murex MX.3 platform, particularly in integration, configuration, and system architecture, • Strong knowledge of MXML, including exchange design, customisation, and performance optimisation, • Deep understanding of trade lifecycle management across asset classes: FX / FXO, MM, IRD and Equities, • Experience leading and managing small to medium teams within global project environments, • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities, • Experience working in a fast-paced banking or financial services environment Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field., • Relevant certifications (e.g., Murex MTEK training) are advantageous, • Prior experience working within global banking institutions, with international project exposure preferred Long Term Contract (Inside IR35) - ASAP Start - X1 days in London office - Strong market rates Synechron Synechron Technologies draws on over 17 years of financial services IT consulting experience to provide expert systems integration expertise and technical development work in highly complex areas within financial services this making it one of the fastest-growing digital, business consulting, and technology firms around the world.
