You will have day to day responsibly of the management and implementation of compliance standards across multiple key business functions including, Quality, Health / safety, Environment, Information Security and BRCGS (Food Safety & Packaging Materials).\n\nThis role will ensure that all quality, safety, environmental, and information security practices comply with internal policies, local and international standards and relevant certifications are maintained.\n\nKey Areas,\n\n * Compliance & Audit\n\n * Business systems implementation\n\n * Hands-on leadership across production / operations\n\n * Technology, CI, new machines, automation – GMP\n\n * Lean Six Sigma and other best practice methodologies\n\n * Strong leadership on regulations and compliance processes\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * This role holds end‑to‑end accountability for quality, compliance, governance and continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation.\n\n * Owning and leading the business's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring it is robust, current and aligned with customer expectations, regulatory requirements and overall business strategy\n\n * Developing, implementing and maintaining quality policies, procedures and standards to ensure products consistently meet specification, safety and performance requirements\n\n * Acting as the primary point of contact for external regulatory bodies, leading third‑party audits including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001\n\n * Coordinating and governing all ISO compliance requirements, ensuring audit readiness, effective controls and zero major non‑conformances\n\n * Designing and executing a structured internal audit programme, identifying non‑conformances, operational gaps and areas of risk\n\n * Evaluating, approving and monitoring supplier quality performance, including supplier audits and manufacturing site risk assessments\n\n * Working closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues, improve consistency and strengthen quality feedback loops across the supply chain\n\n * Partnering with operational leaders to embed high standards across production, balancing quality integrity with commercial delivery\n\n * Identifying gaps where new procedures are required and leading their development, implementation and training\n\n * Reviewing and analysing quality performance data, KPIs and cost of quality metrics, identifying trends and improvement opportunities\n\n * Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, repeatability and product reliability\n\n * Integrating health, safety and environmental compliance into governance and operating processes, promoting a zero‑harm culture\n\n * Providing structured, meaningful quality and compliance reporting to senior leadership to support decision‑making as the business scales\n\nIdeal candidate skills You will be well suited to this role if you bring:\n\n * Proven experience within manufacturing quality and compliance\n\n * Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, with exposure to ISO 14001 and related standards\n\n * Experience owning, improving and governing a Quality Management System\n\n * Confidence leading audits, investigations and corrective actions\n\n * The ability to influence and educate operational teams without being bureaucratic\n\n * A practical, hands‑on mindset suited to a fast‑growing manufacturing environment
