The Opportunity Given current workload and in line with our general (logical) growth plans, we are looking for a Consultant / Senior Consultant with 2–5 years’ experience in 360 recruitment or Search, to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering embedded talent solutions to leading organisations across the marine industry, while building a long-term personal brand of your own, in an environment that you can genuinely take ownership of. We operate in a highly consultative manner, winning, creating and delivering complex search mandates, managing client relationships, and contributing to the general continued growth - and reputation of LMOceans. Key Responsibilities • You must be willing to throw yourself into learning how to win and deliver end-to-end recruitment work and processes within an embedded or retained search model (which includes 270 and 360 process handling, work-winning, client facing, client-development) and will be heavily supported by your Director/Leader, • Over time, you will partner closely with clients to understand hiring needs, organisational structure, and market dynamics (internationally), • You must be capable of sourcing, engaging with and managing high-calibre candidates across the marine and maritime sectors, • Day to day, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong talent pipelines within your niche vertical(s), • You must learn to create a USP within your vertical niche, heavily supported by your Director/Leader, • Providing digital marketing, videography, photography, market insights, salary benchmarking and general hiring intelligence to clients - is a big part of what we do, so you must be prepared to think beyond just typical recruitment solutions., • Being able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail is a necessity., • You will contribute to business development initiatives, including identifying new opportunities within existing and prospective clients., • Represent LMOceans with honesty, integrity, professionalism, and sector expertise – during meetings, exhibitions, conferences, client & candidate visits etc. About You • Ideally 2–5 years’ experience in 360 recruitment, executive search, or talent consultancy, • Experience in an embedded, RPO, or retained search environment would be highly desirable, but not essential, • Strong communication and relationship-building skills – and by this, we do mean relationships in-person, whenever possible!, • Commercially minded with a consultative approach to problem-solving, • Ability to manage stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally, • Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously, • Some interest or exposure to the marine, maritime, offshore, or energy sectors would be advantageous, • Bachelor’s degree of higher (desirable not essential), • Any previous exposure / experience within staffing for markets including Marine, O&G, Offshore Wind, Onshore Energy, Utilities, Built Environment or Heavy Civils would also be highly desirable What We Offer • An entrepreneurial environment with genuine growth opportunities that you can personally effect, • Exposure to high-profile clients and complex, international search mandates, • The opportunity to specialise in a dynamic and evolving sector – and build your own brand for the long term, • No-threshold commission structures that blow the competition away, as well as performance-related incentives, • Annual profit-share scheme, • Flexible working arrangements, • Regular national and international travel opportunities, • Laptop, Phone (personal use as well), • Gym membership Why Join LMOceans?
