To assist the Engineering Manager in the completion of the Site PPM Schedule on a daily, weekly and annual basis. Qualification & Experience Requirements • Electrical and/or mechanical qualifications/time served apprenticeship., • 2 Years’ experience of working in an automated production environment., • A good standard of both written and oral English., • Previous food processing industry experience desirable., • Basic Food Hygiene, • Basic Health & Safety, • Data and analytical skills, • Computer literate (word/excel/windows based packages), • Desirable skills: PLC’s, pneumatics, hydraulics, temperature control, instrumentation, welding. Performing Design Reviews with client/production/engineering department. Inspecting the mechanical build as it progresses and facilitating project communications and reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Quality, Procurement and Commercial teams to ensure project objectives are met. Oversee project management elements including the commercial aspects of projects from estimating, procurement, through to final close out. Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise on projects. Project planning and resource management, Liaise with clients, sub-contractors and inhouse project teams. Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers through coaching and guidance. Overseeing project quality control and project health and safety matters.
