Our client's service is a specialist, community-based care home providing nursing support to individuals of all gender identities who are autistic, have a learning disability, and/or have additional complex physical or mental health needs.We are urgently seeking dedicated Agency Support Workers to provide consistent long day and night cover. Shift Times • Day: 07:15 – 19:45, • Night: 19:15 – 07:45About the Service, • Individually tailored support for each resident, • Holistic, person-centred care planning, • Positive behaviour support strategies, • Promoting independence and community engagement, • Access to meaningful, stimulating activities 7 days a week, • Strong safeguarding culture, • Collaborative work with families and multi-agency professionalsAbout the Support Worker RoleAs a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being. You will work closely with residents, colleagues, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with individual care plans. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a caring and compassionate approach, have strong communication skills, and be able to work confidently both independently and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team. You will be flexible, reliable, and committed to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for those in your care. Candidate Responsibilities, • Support individuals with their daily routines, • Promote independence and empower service users, • Provide emotional support and companionship, • Assist with personal care activities, • Maintain accurate records and documentation, • Follow care plans, safeguarding, and health & safety guidelines, • Work flexibly across long day and night shifts as required Key Skills & Requirements, • Minimum 6-12 months UK experience in a Support Worker role, • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach, • Ability to follow instructions and individual care plans, • Good communication and interpersonal skills, • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, • Based in, or willing to work in, Workington, CumbriaWhat We Offer, • £250 referral bonus (paid after 150 qualifying hours worked), • Consistent long days and nights available urgently, • Competitive agency rates (temporary & fixed contracts), • Flexible working patterns, • Dedicated, experienced one-to-one consultant supportThis role is available for an immediate start please forward your CV as soon as possible to apply.
