Our pharma and life sciences practice is growing, and most of our work in pharma is with their national market access teams. We work with some of the largest pharma companies in the world, as well as smaller biotechs. Our portfolio spans cardiovascular disease, infectious disease (e.g., HIV and Hep C), cancer, rare diseases and many more. We’re looking to build out our market access and research practice and we’re looking for both junior and senior roles to support its growth. About the role This role requires an interest in pharma market access and the wider health and care system. You will have previous experience in a similar environment or have worked in research, analysis, or scientific roles understanding market and system drivers. You will be passionate about improving access to treatment and care, be that pharmacological or otherwise. Areas of work include strategic market access, market development, KOL / network mapping, research projects within the NHS, thought leadership, building medical science liaison tools (customer facing), patient research, engagement, and advocacy. One of the key factors is that you are part of a growing team working with both healthcare and pharma clients. You will work with our clients to understand their challenges and design effective, innovative, and exciting strategies to help them achieve success. You will also work alongside healthcare services & digital health companies. About you: • At least 2 years as a healthcare market analyst with proven experience in market research, market, • access and data analysis, • Experienced in the pharmaceuticals & life sciences sector, and with a solid understanding of the UK healthcare system and wider market., • An analytical and ever-curious mind and proficient in research methodologies, data interpretation and statistical analysis., • Ambitious, enthusiastic, and creative. You’re passionate about using data and insight to bring problems to life and to help colleagues and clients understand what solutions or approaches may be most effective., • Able to make insight sing using creative and compelling formats, including data visualisation and modelling to reveal the status quo as well as potential., • A health geek, with a relevant degree, relentlessly interested in the sector and how data and insight can help improve access to the latest treatments and technologies., • A self-starter, happy to pitch in wherever you’re needed, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to engage with clients up to a senior level., • You’re ambitious and keen to succeed., • You’re a problem solver, who is able to take initiative and happy to step up when needed., • You’re able to come into our London office 3 days per week (Tues – Thurs). You’ll be: • Conducting market research and analysis (secondary and primary) to identify trends, opportunities and threats in the healthcare and pharma industry., • Collecting and analysing data (qual and quant) on market dynamics, competitive landscapes, customer segments and industry trends to provide actionable insights to clients., • Analysing data on healthcare services, patient demographics, funding sources, regulatory developments and competitive landscape to provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making., • Able to put datasets to work through your basic knowledge of the information they have and how they can be used., • Supporting research projects, managing timelines and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations., • Responsible for seeking out and using data sources to model dashboards, pathways and scenarios, tell a story or illustrate a problem., • Able to advise the team on data interpretation, limitations and context., • Able to present information in an exciting and intelligent style in a variety of formats working with designers and other creative colleagues., • Able to design qualitative research plans, discussion guides and undertake interviews capturing information and developing it into insight for projects including strategy development, communications and market insight., • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather relevant data and information for analysis., • Keeping abreast of industry trends, best practices and regulatory changes that may impact the healthcare market., • Responsible for preparing and presenting information working alongside the client team. This could be in the form of face-to-face client meetings, proposals, presentations or reports to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders. You may be asked to contribute to development of media stories, sales materials or workshops., • An expert at data analysis, outlier calculations including banding and quintiles as well as basic regression analysis., • Happy to pitch in and help where necessary.
