We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Therapist to join our Spa team. This is a key leadership role, supporting the management team in the smooth day-to-day running of the Spa while delivering exceptional treatments and first-class customer service. The Role As a Senior Therapist, you will lead by example on the treatment floor, support and supervise the therapy team, and ensure company standards, procedures, and brand values are consistently met. You will play a vital role in team development, guest satisfaction, and retail performance. Key responsibilities • Supporting, supervising, and motivating the therapy team on a daily basis, • Ensuring all therapists follow company policies, procedures, and treatment standards, • Acting as a point of contact for client queries and complaints, liaising with management where required, • Carrying out weekly Duty Manager shifts, • Supporting Spa & Therapy Reception duties, including guest check-in and check-out, • Performing treatments to the required standard of each product house, • Ensuring smooth Spa operations in the presence or absence of Spa Managers, • Carrying out competency tests, training, and ongoing development with the team, • Completing regular appraisals and performance reviews, • Encouraging and drive retail sales and professional product recommendations, • Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, stock levels, and presentation across therapy rooms and Spa areas, • Managing daily treatment collections and laundry processes, • Adhering to all Health & Safety, COSHH, food hygiene, and PPE requirements Essential: • Have a NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification, • Have a minimum of 2 years' experience, • Have excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills, • Have a passion for customer service and team development, • Opportunity to develop leadership and training skills, • Work within a supportive and professional Spa environment, • Full-time: 40 hours per week, • Working 5 out of 7 days a week, • Shift Patterns: 0730-1600hrs / 0930-1800hrs / 1100-1930hrs, • Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business Benefits • Work in a stunning, historic estate with a commitment to excellence in hospitality, • Competitive salary, • Complimentary use of the leisure and spa facilities, • Up to 20% target led commission on product sales, • Free staff canteen which provides a variety of options daily, • Discount on overnight stays and spa days, • 30% discount on food and drink, • Employer workplace pension contribution, • Excellent Induction and training programme, • Perkbox online benefits and discounts, • Free Parking, • Refer-a-Friend scheme
