We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join a prestigious VIP Airline Lounge at London Heathrow Airport, delivering exceptional dining experiences to international travellers in a premium hospitality environment. The duties of the Sous Chef will include: • Assisting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen., • Supporting the Head chef in menu planning and cost implantation of the kitchen., • Writing menus with a variety of food options for Lounge guests., • Enforcing healthy and safety., • Managing the pass and ensure food quality standards., • Training kitchen staff and supervising kitchen stations. The Skills and Experience required for this Sous Chef role: • Sous Chef experience from a hotel, contract catering, restaurant, banqueting or similar environment., • Experience managing a minimum 500 covers per day., • Experience in managing, training and developing kitchen personnel., • Experience in producing European and Continental cuisine., • The ability to work shifts to cover a roster that will include weekends and Bank Holidays., • The ability to work shifts between 0530 hrs – 2230 hrs. In return the Sous Chef will receive: Payrate of £18.00 p/h - £19.23 p/h • Min 40hrs + per week., • Criminal Record Check (DBS) re-imbursed after 4 weeks., • Weekly pay, • Full Training, • Company Uniform, • A great working environment, • Airport discounts once an airside pass is issued. All successful candidates for this position will be subject to 5 years background checks to meet airport vetting and will be also require a Police Clearance (DBS) check.
