About Birchgrove \n Birchgrove is a different kind of later living. Our neighbourhoods are places to feel genuinely at home - with your own front door, your own routines and the freedom to live life your way, alongside a welcoming community when you want it. We believe later life should feel lighter, easier and full of possibility, with beautiful homes, friendship, independence and the reassurance of support close by. \n Why neighbours? Because this is their home. The people who live at Birchgrove are the people next door, the familiar face over lunch, the person you stop and chat to in the hallway. We get to know people as individuals - their stories, preferences and even their quirks - so everyone feels part of something without ever losing their independence or sense of self. Calling people neighbours simply feels more like Birchgrove: warm, personal and rooted in belonging. \n \n The role \n As Concierge, you will often be the first person a neighbour, visitor or family member sees when they arrive. You will help set the tone for the neighbourhood: warm, calm, organised and genuinely welcoming. \n The role brings together reception, hospitality, administration and practical support. You will help people find what they need, support events and food-and-beverage service, and make sure everyday enquiries are handled thoughtfully and efficiently. At its heart, this is a hospitality role, with clear boundaries around personal care or clinical support. \n \n The person \n\n • \n Warm, friendly and confident speaking with a wide range of people \n • \n Enjoys helping people and takes pride in making every interaction welcoming and easy \n • \n Organised, self-motivated and able to manage several priorities without losing the personal touch \n • \n A clear communicator with good telephone and administrative skills \n • \n Comfortable working as part of a team and helping colleagues when the neighbourhood is busy \n • \n Creative and willing to support events and community activity \n • \n Discreet and respectful when handling neighbour information or personal matters \n • \n Aware of what is happening across the neighbourhood, and confident speaking up about problems, sharing ideas and suggesting practical solutions \n • \n Flexible to work shifts, including some weekends \n\n \n What you will be doing \n\n • \n Welcome neighbours, prospective neighbours, families, visitors and contractors, creating a positive first impression \n • \n Manage reception enquiries in person and by telephone, dealing with them professionally or directing them to the right colleague \n • \n Support reception administration, messages, bookings and other agreed neighbourhood tasks \n • \n Follow visitor, contractor, access, key and security procedures \n • \n Provide practical hospitality and customer-service support to neighbours, without providing personal care or clinical support \n • \n Support activities, events and functions, including room set-up and welcoming guests \n • \n Deliver food and beverage service to a high standard, including hot drinks and bar service where required and permitted \n • \n Keep reception and communal areas clean, tidy and welcoming \n • \n Work collaboratively with neighbours, families and colleagues while respecting confidentiality and boundaries \n • \n Report maintenance issues, hazards, incidents, concerns or unusual events promptly to the appropriate manager \n\n \n What we expect from everyone \n\n • \n Be warm, helpful and respectful. Get to know people as individuals and remember that, for our neighbours, this is home \n • \n Take ownership. If you can help, do. If you cannot, make sure the right person knows and follow it through \n • \n Speak up if something does not feel right, whether a safety concern, inappropriate behaviour, a mistake or a concern about someone’s wellbeing \n • \n Respect privacy and share personal or confidential information only when there is a genuine need \n • \n Work safely, complete the training required for your role and ask for help when something is outside your training, competence or authority \n\n \n Health, safety and wellbeing \n\n • \n Follow food-hygiene and allergen procedures when serving food or drinks \n • \n Never guess or give allergen information from memory. Use Birchgrove’s approved information and refer queries to a trained colleague \n • \n Follow security, visitor-management and emergency procedures at reception \n • \n Report hazards, incidents, accidents, near misses and maintenance defects promptly \n • \n Take part in fire drills and understand the role expected of front-of-house colleagues during an incident \n • \n Follow manual-handling, lone-working and safe-working procedures relevant to your duties \n • \n Maintain clear professional boundaries: do not provide personal care, administer medication or give clinical advice \n\n \n What you can expect from us \n\n • \n Work that matters. You will help make everyday life easier, warmer and more connected for our neighbours \n • \n Room to grow. We invest in learning and development, including training plans, apprenticeships and leadership pathways \n • \n Trust and a voice. We want you to use your judgement, share ideas and make things better rather than follow a script \n • \n A team that looks out for one another. We value kindness, collaboration and different perspectives, and want people to feel welcome, respected and able to be themselves. Birchgrove is a Living Wage Employer and a Disability Confident Employer \n • \n Benefits that support you, including life assurance, healthcare cashback, employee assistance and mental health support, long-service recognition, free breakfast and lunch when working in our neighbourhoods, an electric-car salary-sacrifice scheme and onsite gym use at selected neighbourhoods, subject to eligibility and availability \n • \n The chance to grow with us. Birchgrove is expanding, and we want you to share in that journey, bring ideas and feel proud of the part you play \n

As a well-reputed IT Managed Services Provider, we have a credible track record of delivering excellent outsourced IT and Cyber Security services. Our focus is the everyday economy - midmarket organisations who choose to partner for their technology needs rather than build it themselves. Over the past 30 years we have built our reputation on relationships, trust and the quality of our team, and we're now investing seriously in how we find and win the next generation of clients like them. We are building a proper, structured new-business function for the first time - one that doesn't rely on personal networks and referrals alone. This role is at the centre of it. You will not be starting cold. A colleague builds and maintains a database of the right target organisations, enriched with signals that tell us who is genuinely likely to be reviewing their IT provider right now. Your job is to work that list: picking up the phone, showing up in person at the events and forums where our target clients spend their time, and turning genuine interest into well-qualified conversations. This is a middle-funnel role, and deliberately so. You are not responsible for building the target list from scratch, and you are not responsible for closing the deal or running a tender response - those sit either side of you. Your job is everything in between: making contact, qualifying properly, and handing over a conversation that's genuinely worth someone else's time. You're one of three roles working together as a single motion, and it's worth being clear about the shape of it: New Business Executive - builds and maintains the target database, tracks the signals that tell us who's likely to be in-market, and runs events and content that keep ramsac visible before a prospect is ready to buy. Sales Development Executive (this role) - works that list directly: outbound calls, in-person networking, and referral partner contact, turning it into qualified, well-documented opportunities. New Business Manager - takes the opportunities you create, progresses them, runs tender responses, and closes the business. This isn't a junior calling role sitting underneath someone. It's a genuine middle tier, built for someone who already knows how to build and run their own pipeline, and doesn't need a finished playbook handed to them to be effective. Make outbound sales calls every day, prioritised against the businesses most likely to be genuinely in-market - not working a flat, undifferentiated list Represent ramsac in person at networking events, industry forums and conferences where our target clients spend their time Maintain regular contact with referral partners, working the same target accounts from a different angle Qualify every conversation properly before it's handed on - a named organisation, a real decision-influencer, and enough context that the next person doesn't start from zero Keep the CRM properly maintained - every contact logged, every opportunity qualified against a clear bar Feed back into the target list what's actually working, so targeting keeps improving over time. You will build a genuine middle-funnel motion. You'll prove what a well-qualified opportunity actually looks like for ramsac, build your own rhythm for outbound and in-person activity, and turn a good target list into a real, trusted pipeline that the rest of the business wants to work from. We are building the UK’s Best in Class Technology Service Provider. To do that, we only want to work with the best. Our staff are proud to say, ‘I am ramsac’ and their personal values reflect the core ramsac beliefs, which is all about going the extra mile and being genuinely concerned about providing clients with the highest quality service. Are you ramsac enough to be part of this very special team? This is a deliberate middle ground - more independent and more experienced than a junior outbound or graduate SDR role, but not a leadership or strategy position. We're looking for someone who has already built and run their own pipeline somewhere else, who is comfortable picking up the phone without a script, and who genuinely enjoys the work of finding and creating opportunities rather than just following up on what arrives. You're self-sufficient. You don't need close day-to-day coaching to know what a good week looks like, but you're also a genuine team player - happy to work closely with the person building your target list and the person you're handing opportunities to, because the whole motion only works if all three roles trust each other. Proven experience independently generating and progressing your own sales pipeline - not just working leads handed to you Genuine comfort with structured outbound calling as a core, daily part of the job Confidence representing a business in person, at networking events and industry forums Strong organisational discipline - you'll be trusted to manage your own CRM hygiene and qualification standards Resilience and self-motivation - this is a role built from a standing start, not an existing, well-worn playbook The judgement to know when a conversation is genuinely worth passing on, and when it isn't yet We're not looking for someone to follow an established script - there isn't one yet. We're looking for someone who wants to help build it: who's genuinely energised by the first conversation with a business that doesn't know us yet, and who takes real pride in turning that into something the rest of the team is glad to take on. Experience selling into IT services, managed services, or a comparable technical/consultative sale An existing network or familiarity within the London/South-East mid-market business community Experience working in a business with a defined ideal customer profile and a signal- or trigger-based approach to targeting, rather than pure volume calling #J-18808-Ljbffr
