We are currently recruiting a professional HGV Class 1 Tanker Driver to safely collect and transport products across our established regional network. Key Responsibilities: • Safely and efficiently load, transport, and deliver waste oils from diverse commercial customers., • Maintain strict compliance with all relevant legislation, including Drivers' Hours, WTD, and daily defect reporting., • Take ownership of the vehicle's condition, providing the best care for company assets and pumping equipment., • Follow daily routing instructions while communicating effectively with the transport office. Requirements: • Valid HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence., • Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card., • A proven track record of tachograph compliance and safe driving., • ADR Certificate (Tanks) is highly advantageous. Note: If you do not hold a current ADR, we will fully fund your training (subject to terms). Abbey Fire are looking for a Fire Door Carpenter to join our team, installing, inspecting, and repairing fire doors across a range of commercial and residential properties to the highest compliance standards. What You'll Be Doing • Installing, adjusting, and repairing fire doors and associated ironmongery to meet current fire safety regulations, • Installing new fire door sets, • Carrying out surveys and inspections to identify defects and non-compliance issues, • Fitting intumescent seals, hinges, closers, and other fire door components in line with manufacturer specifications, • Completing accurate paperwork and compliance certification for each job, • Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service on every site, • Travelling to sites as required, with travel costs subsidised by the company (staying away across the UK will be required) What We're Looking For • Proven experience as a carpenter, ideally with fire door installation or maintenance background, • Recognised carpentry qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent), • IFC certification or working towards it (desirable, training support available), • Sound understanding of fire door regulations and compliance requirements, • Full UK driving licence (essential, as a company van is provided), • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspections and paperwork, • Good communication skills and a professional manner on customer sites What's on Offer • £40,000 basic salary, £52,000 OTE including performance-based bonus payments, • Company van and fuel card provided, • Subsidised travel for site work, • Ongoing training and support, including fire door certification where needed, • Opportunities for career progression within a growing business If you take pride in your craftsmanship and want a role where your performance is genuinely rewarded, we'd love to hear from you.
