Key Responsibilities: • Course Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality motor vehicle lessons to secondary school students, ensuring all learning objectives and curriculum standards are met., • Practical Training: Provide hands-on training in motor vehicle maintenance and repair, using industry-standard tools and equipment., • Assessment: Assess students' work, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements., • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the motor vehicle curriculum, incorporating current industry trends and practices., • Student Support: Provide guidance and support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success., • Health and Safety: Ensure all training activities comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe learning environment for all students. Qualifications and Experience: • Relevant qualifications in motor vehicle engineering or a related field., • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive industry., • Previous teaching or training experience, preferably not essential with secondary school students., • A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, AET, PTTLS, Cert Ed) is desirable but not essential., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills., • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
