    Part-time
    St. James's, London

Farmers Market Sales Assistant Weekends | London outdoor farmers markets | Great food | Extra income (London Living Wage + bonus for hitting target) Ever notice how some people come alive talking to strangers? We’re looking for confident, organised, people-people to help run a busy market stall at weekends, representing a high-quality British trout and fish product. This isn’t shelf-stacking or standing around waiting to be told what to do - it’s hands-on, fast-moving and very human. And it's all beautifully package; don't worry you don't have to weigh out raw fish! You’ll be the face of the stall. Chatting to customers. Sharing what makes the product special. Keeping things sharp. Making sure everything runs smoothly from the first coffee of the morning through to pack-down. What you’ll be doing • Setting up and running a lively market stall, • Talking to customers, answering questions and making sales, • Sharing basic product knowledge and helping people choose, • Keeping the stall looking great and well organised, • Handling payments confidently, • Packing down and heading home with a job well done This is for you if: • You’re confident, friendly and good with people, • You’re organised and enjoy being trusted to get on with things, • You take pride in representing quality products properly, • You’re happy working outdoors and on your feet, • You can commit to weekend work (approx 8am - 2pm Sat/Sun) It’s ideal as a second job - alongside studies, freelancing or another role - and suits people who like variety, independence and a bit of buzz. Experience If you’ve worked in food, retail, hospitality or markets before, great. If not, that’s fine too. We care far more about attitude, reliability and how you deal with people.

We are looking for a very reliable and caring Support worker / learning support / carer who has already experience in care and with severe autism. About the young man: He is a disabled and autistic non verbal 18 year old with severe epilepsy, a movement disorder and additional health needs. he is very friendly but needs a lot of help with everything He lives at home with his family and dog. His team of Learning support workers / carers help him with his daily life & routine which includes supporting and facilitating access to activities and community, help him with learning more self help skills and communication, all of his personal care, provide 1 - 2 overnight support shifts per week (these are waking nights), and keep his environment and laundry clean & tidy. He needs a lot of help with all elements of daily life. He is developing his communication skills using picture exchange and gestures, such as pointing. When he is well he likes physical activities (with a lot of support) — like going to the pool, walks in the parks, disability bike rides. He needs a lot of support with all of these activities as he also has a movement disorder. He also likes to chill with his sister and watch movies and join in Family meals. Unfortunately he often also needs a lot of care as he can have seizures which lead to him needing to spend time in hospital. About the Position: You will be provided with regular training on his health needs, care needs, and behavioural support. The training is provided by the experienced team members of the team as well as his ABA therapist. You need to be strong and fun as well as reliable to fit into the very professional and experienced team. You will need to have worked with disability and autism before (babysitting a nephew is not enough). Perhaps you also have already experience with care elements like CIC catheterisation and Peresteen as well as PEG and giving medications otherwise we can train you. This might be a good position for someone who has a keen interest in disability, psychology, nursing, and the position could suit a part time student of a relevant field. Unfortunately we do not think that having worked in a care home would be the relevant experience. It is also an opportunity to learn a lot and to be part of a very nice supportive team. You would need to be willing to commit for a minimum of 12 months. We would prefer someone who can work with a UTR number on a self-employed basis and who can work a minimum of 35 hours per week. No smokers or vapers please. You need to be dog friendly too. We hope to find someone who is open to work some weekends and some bank holidays too (shared with the team). Starting wage is £16 per hour. If this role interests you please send your CV and - ideally a short cover letter written in your own words - please no AI - explaining your interest in this particular position. it would also help if when you initially apply you write a sentence on why you applied (we get a lot of applications). Lateron we will also need 2 relevant work references and a valid enhanced DBS. Thank you!
