Job Summary: We are seeking a Trainee Mobile Service Engineer to join our team, specialising in the servicing and maintenance of conveyor systems. As a Mobile Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' conveyor systems operate efficiently and reliably. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining conveyor systems, with the flexibility to travel to various customer sites as needed. Responsibilities: • Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine and emergency maintenance on conveyor systems, including troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades to systems., • Site Inspections: Conduct on-site assessments of conveyor systems to identify issues, recommend solutions, and ensure safety compliance., • Installation Support: Assist with the installation, setup, and commissioning of new conveyor systems, as required., • Documentation: Maintain accurate service records, including details of repairs, installations, and any spare parts used. Requirements: • Full UK driving licence (desirable), • Experience working on mechanical equipment., • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills., • Good interpersonal skills and a good understanding of the importance of excellent customer service., • Electrical background / qualifications desirable, but not essential as full training will be given., • Ability to work independently or as part of a team., • Flexibility to travel throughout the UK and work occasional overtime, including some overnight stays (on average 3 nights per week - hotel and meal allowance included).
