We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Heathrow Lounge Host / Service Team Member to deliver a premium hospitality experience and ensure exceptional service standards are maintained at all times. The successful candidate will create a welcoming environment for customers while supporting daily lounge operations, food service, cleanliness, and health & safety standards. \n \n Key Responsibilities \n Customer Service & Hospitality \n\n • Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment for all guests.\n, • Greet customers warmly and professionally upon arrival.\n, • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.\n, • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high attention to detail.\n, • Handle customer queries, complaints, and concerns professionally and courteously.\n, • Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a positive customer experience at all times.\n\n Lounge Operations \n\n • Set up tables, chairs, and lounge furniture appropriately.\n, • Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the lounge area.\n, • Clear tables regularly and carry out cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, sanitising surfaces, and waste disposal.\n, • Monitor and replenish stock items including napkins, condiments, cutlery, and other supplies.\n, • Support inventory management and report stock shortages to management.\n\n \n Pay \n £14/hr \n \n Hours \n 40 hours a week \n \n Food Preparation & Hygiene \n\n • Assist with basic food preparation and mise en place activities.\n, • Maintain food presentation and quality standards.\n, • Follow food safety and hygiene procedures, including temperature controls and storage procedures.\n, • Maintain clean and organised workstations with all necessary equipment readily available.\n\n Health & Safety \n\n • Comply with health and safety regulations and company procedures.\n, • Follow COSHH guidelines and use appropriate protective equipment when handling cleaning chemicals.\n, • Adhere to hand hygiene and personal cleanliness procedures.\n, • Ensure the lounge environment remains safe and compliant at all times.\n, • Follow company dress code standards and maintain professional appearance.\n\n Teamwork & Communication \n\n • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.\n, • Communicate effectively with team members and management.\n, • Support a positive workplace culture through teamwork and cooperation.\n\n Skills & Experience \n Essential \n\n • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality environment (hotel, restaurant, café, lounge or similar setting preferred).\n, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n, • Strong organisational and time-management skills.\n, • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.\n, • Basic numerical skills for handling transactions and processing orders.\n, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\n\n Desirable \n\n • GCSE education or equivalent.\n, • Knowledge of food safety procedures and hospitality standards.\n\n Personal Attributes \n\n • Friendly and approachable with a positive attitude.\n, • Strong work ethic and professionalism.\n, • Honest and trustworthy.\n, • Flexible and adaptable to change.\n, • Respectful and culturally aware.\n, • Calm under pressure and able to manage challenging situations tactfully.\n, • Eager to learn and develop professionally.\n\n Benefits \n\n • Company pension scheme\n, • Holiday entitlement\n, • Birthday leave\n, • Training and development opportunities\n, • Employee discounts and wellbeing support\n, • Long service recognition programme\n, • Employee wellbeing hub access\n
