Head Chef – Premium Events & Corporate Catering. The Role This is a genuinely hands-on Head Chef position, combining kitchen leadership, production, menu execution and event delivery. Based primarily from the Battersea production kitchen, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day culinary operation, ensuring consistently high standards across food quality, preparation, organisation and presentation. You will lead an experienced kitchen team and work closely with the Executive Chef on menu development, event planning and delivery. You will also have the opportunity to support a number of high-profile seasonal and flagship events throughout the year. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day operation of the Battersea production kitchen. Manage, motivate and develop an experienced kitchen brigade. Oversee food preparation and production for a varied programme of corporate events. Maintain consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and execution. Work closely with the Executive Chef on menu development and event planning. Ensure excellent stock control, food safety and kitchen organisation. Coordinate production across multiple events and varying volumes. Support large-scale and seasonal projects when required. Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently while maintaining the highest culinary standards. Working Pattern Predominantly Monday to Friday Based from a Battersea production kitchen London-wide event delivery Some seasonal and flagship event work during peak periods About You We are looking for a proven Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef with experience within events, production kitchens, contract catering, premium hospitality or a similarly high-volume environment. You will be a confident kitchen leader who enjoys being hands-on and is comfortable managing a team while overseeing multiple events and production requirements simultaneously. You'll need to be highly organised, commercially aware and passionate about delivering excellent food — whether you're catering for 20 VIP guests or producing for 1,000.
