With over 60 years of experience in highly regulated sectors, the group supports public and industrial stakeholders in the execution of complex and strategic infrastructure projects, subject to high safety and security requirements. \n\nAssystem mobilizes 8,000 experts in 13 countries and intervenes across the entire project lifecycle, in engineering, project management and digital solutions. \n\nJob Description\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Payroll Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for over 1,000 employees. Working closely with the Payroll & Benefits Manager, you will contribute to a reliable and customer-focused payroll function, while supporting benefits administration and ongoing process improvements.\n\nThe role is offered on a part time basis of 25 hours per week, to be worked over 5 days, with 2 days per week in the office.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupport the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll, including starters, leavers and contractual changes\nAdminister statutory payments, pensions and employee benefits in line with UK legislation\nValidate payroll data, carry out checks, and support reconciliations and reporting\nMaintain accurate records and ensure compliance with GDPR and company policies\nRespond to payroll queries and collaborate with internal teams and external providers\nContribute to annual reward processes and continuous improvement of payroll practices\n\nQualifications\n\nPrevious payroll experience with a solid understanding of UK payroll legislation\nStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills\nConfident using Excel and payroll/HR systems\nEffective communicator with a customer-focused approach\nDiscreet, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement(CIPP qualification or willingness to study towards one is advantageous.)\n\nAdditional Information\n\nBe part of a purpose-driven organisation supporting the energy transition\nWork within a collaborative and supportive People team\nGain exposure to payroll, benefits, and reward processes\nOpportunity to contribute to process improvements and team development\nFlexible, hybrid working environmentNOTICE TO CANDIDATES ON RECRUITMENT FRAUD - We are committed to safeguarding candidates from fraudulent activity associated with our recruitment process.
