A friendly Good primary in Peterborough seeks an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join its KS1 phase on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. This Year 1 Teacher post will begin with induction activities scheduled in the weeks before January 2026, and the appointed Year 1 Teacher will be fully teaching from January 2026. The school offers excellent TA support, modern classrooms and a strong CPD programme designed for every Year 1 Teacher starting in January 2026. • Year 1 Teacher — Full-Time post beginning January 2026 • Year 1 Teacher required in a Good-rated primary in Peterborough • Year 1 Teacher to join a warm, collaborative KS1 team from January 2026 The successful Year 1 Teacher will plan and deliver daily phonics and early reading sessions, teach creative cross-curricular topics and secure solid progress in numeracy and writing. As the Year 1 Teacher, you will use assessment to tailor learning, run targeted small-group interventions and maintain strong communication with families. This Full-Time Year 1 Teacher role requires someone who can bring energy, structure and kindness to the classroom from January 2026. Why apply as a Year 1 Teacher? The Year 1 Teacher will be ready to start pre-term planning and induction in the days before January 2026 and to teach as a Full-Time professional from January 2026.
