Due to continued growth and investment, they are seeking an experienced and detail-focused Quality Inspector to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong manufacturing quality background who takes pride in maintaining the highest standards and enjoys working closely with production teams to deliver exceptional products to customers. The Role As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring that all manufactured components meet customer requirements, engineering specifications, and quality standards. Working closely with production personnel, you will conduct inspections throughout the manufacturing process and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business. Key Responsibilities • Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections of sheet metal components., • Read and interpret customer drawings, technical specifications, and engineering documentation., • Perform dimensional inspections using a variety of measuring equipment., • Identify, record, and report non-conforming products., • Assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions., • Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation., • Support continuous improvement activities and quality initiatives., • Work closely with production teams to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved., • Promote a quality-first culture throughout the manufacturing process.About You To be successful in this role, you will have: • Previous experience as a Quality Inspector, Quality Controller, or similar quality-focused role within a manufacturing environment., • Experience within sheet metal fabrication, precision engineering, or a related industry preferred., • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications., • Experience using inspection and measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measuring tools., • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection activities., • Strong communication skills and the confidence to raise and challenge quality concerns when required., • Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems would be advantageous.What Our Client Offers, • Competitive salary based on experience., • Flexible 40-hour working week across 4 or 5 days., • Company pension scheme., • Free tea and coffee., • Onsite parking., • Stable employment within a long-established and growing manufacturing business., • Friendly, supportive team environment.Apply Today If you have a keen eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and experience within a manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.
