General purpose of role: A lead generator is a calling role who is tasked with identifying and qualifying opportunities for the business through outbound calling. Key Accountabilities: • Research leads generated by the networkers that have been placed on the database., • Make telephone contact with these leads to qualify, and if appropriate make appointments for the sales team., • Manage the future prospect bank by keeping the database up to date., • Ensure that the architecture of the database is updated and observed., • Put appointment packs together in the Area Sq format for the sales team prior to client visits., • Build relationships with the networkers and sales teams to gain feedback post appointments, and update the database with notes and diarise any future actions., • Attend weekly internal review meetings to discuss ‘hot lists’. Professional Skills & Experience: • Ability to build internal and external relationships, both face to face and remotely., • Basic telesales training a must (open, investigate, qualify & close)., • Proven track record of making sales appointments., • Database experience essential, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics., • Microsoft Office., • Excellent telephone manner.
