The Role As demand continues to grow, we’re expanding our commercial team and are recruiting an additional Sales Executive to work alongside an existing Sales Executive in an identical role. This is a full-cycle sales position. You’ll be responsible for building and managing your own pipeline, converting both inbound and outbound opportunities, running sales meetings, and opening new customer accounts. From first conversation through to account activation and handover, you’ll own the relationship and play a key role in long-term customer success. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll be instrumental in driving new business growth, strengthening client relationships, and supporting Speedel’s continued expansion across key sectors including aerospace, automotive, healthcare and manufacturing. This role is suited to a commercially driven Sales Executive who enjoys autonomy, thrives on targets, and wants genuine earning potential within a growing logistics business. Key Responsibilities Your role will be split across the following focus areas: • New Business Sales (80%), • Marketing & Strategic Insight (10%), • Account Management & Team Enablement (10%) Sales & Business Development • Proactively identify and engage new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound enquiries, • Deliver compelling online and face-to-face sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs (Corporate and SME's), • Build long-term client relationships based on trust and performance, • Lead client onboarding, ensuring seamless service integration with our operations team, • Leverage CRM tools to track pipeline activity, conversions, and customer touchpoints Marketing & Insight • Support B2B marketing campaigns with trend insights and sales strategy input, • Collaborate with the marketing team to align messaging with commercial objectives, • Attend industry events and maintain market intelligence Account Ownership & Relationship Management • Manage and grow existing accounts through regular engagement, • Retain ownership of customer relationships after account opening, • Act as the primary commercial point of contact for customers, • Proactively manage accounts to drive usage, retention, and growth, • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities in line with customer requirements, • Work closely with Operations to ensure service delivery meets expectations CRM, Pipeline & Reporting • Accurately manage all opportunities, activity, and account data within CRM, • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified account opportunities, • Forecast revenue and report on performance against targets, • Maintain strong CRM discipline as the single source of truth, • Conduct weekly sales meetings to assess performance and plan pipeline activity What We’re Looking For • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within logistics, transport, supply chain or a service-led environment, • Confident and professional communicator across phone, video and face-to-face meetings, • A consultative approach, with the ability to sell solutions and long-term partnerships, not just services, • Strong commercial awareness with a clear focus on results and revenue growth, • Well organised, self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously, • Disciplined with CRM and pipeline management, and confident using digital sales tools, • Comfortable managing the full sales cycle, from first contact through to account opening, • A full UK driving licence What We Offer • £30,000 – £35,000 basic + Car allowance (post-probation) + Uncapped commission (OTE £45,000 – £55,000+), • Flexitime, • Hybrid working (up to 2 days remote per week post probation), • 33 days holiday including bank holidays, • Clear autonomy and ownership of your own pipeline., • Opportunity to grow with a scaling business., • Progression opportunities as the business continues to grow, • A supportive, collaborative environment where performance is recognised Why Join Speedel • You’ll be trusted to manage your pipeline, own your accounts, and build genuine customer relationships.
