The business has a thriving CDM/ H&S department which now requires a driven and ambitious CDM advisor to join the team and help oversee a portfolio of residential (public sector), education, healthcare, commercial, regeneration and local authority projects across the Northwest. This is an excellent opportunity for a CDM/PD Advisor with around 2 years experience to join a well respected consultancy and shadow and learn off some of the best in the business, with a clear path of progression being offered simultaneously. The role would suit a NEBOSH & iOSH qualified individual with a good amount of exposure but still looking to learn and progress through a true leader in the CDM/PD consultancy space. Responsibilities • Offer a variety of health & safety services to a diverse client base across the built environment., • Manage the H&S file, review construction phase plans, maintain pre-construction information and conduct design risk reviews., • Attend design team and client meetings and offer advice relating to risk., • Provide a CDM Advisor service to clients., • Ensure all RAMS are in place on projects., • Carryout site safety inspections and site safety audits, • Develop new and existing client relationships. Requirements • NEBOSH Construction or equivalent., • Professional membership to IOSH and APS (desirable)., • knowledge of 2015 CDM Regulations including associated documentation., • Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Person Specification/Requirements • Professional Membership of either the RICS (P&D) or RTPI with relevant experience post qualification experience., • Dynamic, enthusiastic, flexible and commercially astute with excellent interpersonal skills., • Strong focus on own professional skills and integrity., • The ability and confidence to engage directly with clients and be the primary point of contact on major projects., • Manage and coordinate the input and activities of other professionals within project design teams, give advice and direction, and make decisions., • Experience of working on major schemes either within the private or public sectors., • The ability to multi-task, work to tight timescales, often under challenging circumstances, with minimal supervision and to a high standard., • Willingness and/or ability to identify and nurture new business opportunities., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and analytical abilities., • Confident team player able to work well with colleagues and clients as well as manage, nurture and mentor junior members of the team.
