Job Title Sales Director – Print & Packaging (Beauty Sector) Location - England Flexible / Hybrid (with regular travel) Reporting To Managing Director / Commercial Director Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Director to lead and grow our print and packaging business within the beauty and cosmetics sector. This role is responsible for developing strategic client relationships, driving revenue growth, and positioning the company as a preferred packaging partner for premium and mass-market beauty brands. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of beauty packaging trends, strong relationships with brand owners and contract manufacturers, and a proven track record of selling complex print and packaging solutions. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Leadership • Define and execute the sales strategy for print and packaging within the beauty sector, • Own and deliver revenue, margin, and growth targets, • Identify new market opportunities, product innovations, and customer segments, • Work closely with senior leadership to align sales strategy with operational capabilities Client Development & Account Management • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with beauty brands, CMOs, and retailers, • Lead key account strategy for major beauty clients, from concept to long-term partnership, • Drive new business acquisition through proactive prospecting and industry networking, • Act as a trusted advisor on packaging innovation, sustainability, and brand differentiation Commercial & Technical Collaboration • Partner with design, technical, and production teams to deliver best-in-class packaging solutions, • Lead complex negotiations on pricing, contracts, and long-term supply agreements, • Ensure seamless handover from sales to production, maintaining customer satisfaction Market & Industry Insight • Stay ahead of beauty industry trends, including sustainability, refillable packaging, premium finishes, and regulatory requirements, • Represent the company at trade shows, customer presentations, and industry events, • Provide market intelligence to inform product development and investment decisions Team Leadership (if applicable) • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, • Set KPIs, coach performance, and foster a collaborative sales culture Skills & Experience Essential • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within print and packaging, • Strong background selling into the beauty, cosmetics, or personal care sector, • Demonstrated success in driving growth, winning new business, and managing strategic accounts, • Deep understanding of packaging materials, print technologies, and finishing techniques, • Strong commercial acumen with experience in complex negotiations, • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills Desirable • Existing network of contacts within beauty brands and manufacturers, • Experience with sustainable, eco-friendly, or refillable packaging solutions, • International sales or multi-site manufacturing experience Personal Attributes • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven mindset, • Confident, credible, and comfortable operating at board and C-suite level, • Entrepreneurial approach with strong ownership and accountability, • Passion for design, branding, and innovation within beauty packaging What We Offer • Competitive salary and performance-based bonus, • Car allowance / travel support, • Opportunity to shape and grow a key sector of the business, • Work with leading beauty brands on innovative packaging solutions
