Its in-house engineering capabilities include design, customisation, installation,flight-testing and certification, as well as technical support, maintenance, training and the supply of spares for civil and military applications.AHUK is the MoD’s chosen provider of helicopters and maintenance for its No.1Helicopter Flying School (referred to as MFTS) located in RAF Shawbury (Shropshire) and RAF Valley (Anglesey).Description/Overall purpose of the JobThe Customisation and Development team is responsible for the on time, on cost, on quality delivery of helicopter retrofit projects to the UK MOD, National Police Services, Air Ambulance and VIP customers. The careful management of project tasks is essential to ensuring we meet the expectations of both the business and our customers. The Project Manager role is therefore essential to ensuring the successful delivery of complex, multi-million pound projects in a dynamic and challenging environment.As a Project Manager for the Customisation and Development team you will be responsible for the delivery of AHUK contracts throughout the project life-cycle in accordance with AHUK procedures, tools and methodologies. You will also play an important role in developing those procedures for the future.
