Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager for a North Liverpool based primary school. This is a full-time, long-term role (52 weeks per year) with a daily rate of up to £200 per day. Main Duties • To be responsible for the development and daily management of Nursery provision and staff., • To develop and implement effective Early Years curriculum plans and monitor outcomes taking responsibility for the, • learning and achievement of all pupils in the nursery ensuring equality of opportunity for all, • This role will have direct management responsibility for staff and the unit budget., • Treat pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries, • appropriate to the professional position, • Work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with pupils and their families, parents/carers,, • governors, other staff and external agencies in the best interests of children and their families, • Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school, • Take responsibility for ensuring all aspects of safeguarding are met including in line with site, local and national policies, • NNEB, NVQ Level 3 Early Years Childcare and Education or equivalent, • Level 2 qualification in Maths, • Relevant Early Years curriculum training., • A commitment to undertake further training and development, • Have at least four years' experience of working in an early years or educational setting with, • children aged 5 and under, • Minimum 2 years' experience of a post with management / supervisory responsibilities, • Experience of implementing a high-quality Early Years Curriculum, • Preparation for Ofsted inspections; and achievement of positive Ofsted reports., • Has contributed to multi-disciplinary teams regarding the promotion of SEND, Safeguarding, • Health & Safety and/or emotional well-being of children., • Experience of working with a team of professionals regarding planning and assessments., • Experience of working in a team and supporting colleagues, • Professional attributes, • An understanding of and a personal commitment to the Vision and Values of Fazakerley, • Children's Centre Nursery, • Promoting all policies and procedures including those related to the Safeguarding and Equal, • A firm commitment to inclusion, equality and partnership with children, parents and carers., • A firm commitment to promoting the inclusion of children who may be vulnerable or have a disability and or special educational need in the setting, • To undertake training and supervision as required by management, • To work flexibly to support the overall operation of the setting, • An enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks, • A CV that must cover the last 10 years of employment history (where possible), • Legal right to work in the UK
