We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Officer to join a growing manufacturing and distribution organisation based in Folkestone. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, operational environment where HR plays a key role in supporting business performance and workforce engagement. The Role Reporting to the HR Manager, you will provide a comprehensive and hands-on HR service across a busy site, supporting both operational and office-based teams. Key responsibilities will include: • Providing practical HR advice and guidance to line managers on a day-to-day basis, • Managing and supporting employee relations cases including absence, disciplinary and grievance matters, • Assisting with high-volume recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning, • Supporting performance management and employee development processes, • Maintaining accurate HR records and updating HR systems, • Assisting with HR reporting, audits and compliance requirements, • Supporting initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention across the site About You To be successful in this role, you will have: • Proven experience in a HR Officer or similar generalist HR role, • Experience working within a manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environment (highly desirable), • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law, • Confidence managing employee relations cases in a fast-paced setting, • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively, • Excellent communication skills with a hands-on, approachable style, • CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification (or working towards) What’s on Offer • Competitive day rate with potential for extension, • Opportunity to work within a dynamic and growing business, • Exposure to a fast-paced operational HR environment, • Supportive team and management structure, • On-site role with potential flexibility
