Quality Assurance Lead – Justice Social Work (Senior / Head of Service Level) Location: West Dunbartonshire (Hybrid Working Available) Contract: 6-Month Temporary Assignment Pay: Exceptional Hourly Rate – Top-End Market Pay Seven Resourcing are recruiting for a senior-level Quality Assurance Lead (Justice Social Work) to support a high-performing local authority in West Dunbartonshire. This is a high-profile interim leadership opportunity offering top-tier hourly pay, hybrid flexibility, and the chance to drive measurable service improvement within a critical public sector function. This role is ideally suited to an experienced Service Manager, Head of Service, or Quality Assurance Manager with a strong background in audit, inspection readiness, governance, and continuous improvement within social work or justice services. You will take ownership of a strategic audit and quality assurance programme, ensuring compliance, performance excellence, and best practice across Justice Social Work services. Key Responsibilities • Lead a strategic quality assurance and audit programme across Justice Social Work services, • Deliver robust service audits, case file reviews, and self-evaluation frameworks, • Drive continuous improvement, service development, and performance management, • Produce high-quality, evidence-based reports for senior leadership and stakeholders, • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and inspection frameworks, • Support inspection readiness (e.g., Care Inspectorate / HMIP standards), • Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders to embed best practice and governance, • Proven experience in a senior leadership role (Service Manager / Head of Service / QA Lead), • Strong background in quality assurance, audit, and self-evaluation within social work, • Experience within Justice Social Work, Criminal Justice Services, or Public Protection, • In-depth knowledge of inspection frameworks, governance, and compliance standards, • Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills, • Ability to operate at pace within a hybrid working environment, • Top-end pay rates aligned with senior-level interim market, • Hybrid working for improved work-life balance, • Opportunity to lead high-impact transformation and service improvement, • Work within a well-established local authority with strong leadership support At Seven Resourcing, we connect skilled professionals with meaningful opportunities where they can make a real difference.
