    We are looking for a passionate and skilled Curry Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of authentic curry preparation, a creative approach to developing new flavours, and a commitment to maintaining consistently high food and presentation standards. You will be responsible for preparing a variety of authentic and innovative curry dishes to cater to different tastes and dietary requirements, while ensuring every dish meets our restaurant's quality standards. Key Responsibilities • Create and prepare a wide variety of authentic and innovative curry dishes., • Select and prepare fresh, high-quality ingredients, including spices, meats, vegetables, herbs and other produce., • Prepare and cook curries to a consistently high standard, balancing flavours, textures, aromas and presentation., • Adapt dishes to accommodate different customer preferences and dietary requirements., • Maintain high standards of food quality, portion control and presentation., • Monitor stock levels of spices, herbs, meats, vegetables and other kitchen ingredients., • Assist with ordering supplies, ensuring ingredients are available when required and minimising waste., • Maintain a clean, organised and efficient cooking area at all times., • Follow strict food safety, hygiene and sanitation regulations., • Prevent cross-contamination by following appropriate food handling and storage procedures., • Work effectively as part of the kitchen team during busy service periods., • Ensure all food is prepared, stored and served safely and in accordance with restaurant standards. About You The ideal candidate will have: • Experience working as a Curry Chef, Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi cuisine chef, or in a similar professional kitchen role., • Strong knowledge of spices, herbs, ingredients and traditional curry preparation techniques., • A passion for creating authentic, flavourful and high-quality food., • Good knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety requirements., • The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen environment., • Excellent attention to detail and consistency., • Good organisational and stock-control skills., • A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team., • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy service periods when required. You will provide strong leadership across multiple sites, ensuring regulatory compliance, effective safeguarding, high-quality, person-centred support and positive outcomes for young people. The role will involve: • Leading the day-to-day operation of multiple supported accommodation services., • Ensuring compliance with Ofsted requirements and safeguarding standards., • Managing recruitment, staff performance, supervision and continuous improvement., • Overseeing audits, quality assurance processes and service development plans., • Building effective relationships with Ofsted, local authorities and external professionals., • Managing resources effectively and travelling between services as required. Requirements • Previous experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager,, • A proven record of successfully completing at least one Ofsted inspection within children’s residential care or supported accommodation., • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, an equivalent qualification, or a commitment to completing it.
