Principal Protection & Control (P&C) Design Engineer - UK Grid Network Jacobs is playing a leading role in the global energy transition. As our UK and Continental Europe team continues to expand, we are seeking a Principal Protection & Control Engineer to support a range of high-profile projects across our Power & Energy portfolio. Hydrogeologist x4 - All levels Working closely with Head of Discipline of Hydrogeology, to manage delivery of water resource and low-flow studies aligned to our clients WINEP commitments, you will playing a key part in our Uk Water Catchment Management & Maritime capability team, you will be involved in the technical delivery of a wide scope of Geological and Hydro Geological Projects. As part of a project focussed multi disciplined team you will also provide functional expertise to water resource management and environmental impact assessments. Alongside this you will providing specialist hydrogeological support in the review of hydrogeological datasets, the identification of groundwater-surface water interaction, formulation of conceptual site models, design and implementation of groundwater monitoring schemes, groundwater model interrogation, signal test design and analysis, as well as assessment of the impact of abstraction and options for meeting WINEP objectives. Remit and responsibilities will include: • Work with and lead a collaborative industry leading multidisciplinary team, e.g. hydrologists, hydro-morphologists, aquatic ecologists, environmental economists etc., • Oversee, review and sign off complex pieces of work, ensuring all solutions are in line with project requirements., • Lead and actively contribute to technical excellence development, maintaining subject matter expert status by keeping up to date with latest industry and technical innovation., • Continually engage with a wider network to complement technical excellence, alongeside supporting and mentoring colleagues., • Development and delivery of technical solutions that both meet and exceed both current and future industry requirements., • Act as Project Verifier on local / regional and national projects., • Oversee the submission of complex technical papers and to Clients. Electrical and Lighting Senior Engineer As a Senior Engineer in our Electrical & Lighting Design Team, you will be at the forefront of delivering innovative infrastructure solutions across the UK and internationally.
