Role – Civil Supervisor Location – Exeter Mint Selection are partnering with a leading organisation within the energy sector to recruit an experienced Civil Supervisor for an immediate start on a 12-month renewable contract based in Exeter. Scope of Work • Supervise daily site activities for all civil and structural works on the BESS project, including earthworks, foundations, drainage, access roads, ducting, fencing, and compound construction., • Coordinate and oversee site operatives and subcontractors to ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with drawings and specifications., • Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards and CDM Regulations., • Support the Site Manager and Project Manager with progress reporting, quality checks, and coordination with other disciplines (electrical, mechanical, commissioning)., • Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and site inductions to maintain safe working practices., • Monitor site progress and workmanship, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality requirements., • Complete and maintain site records, including daily diaries, permits, inspections, and test reports., • Liaise with suppliers, delivery teams, and subcontractors to manage material and equipment logistics on site., • Identify and report any risks, delays, or non-conformances to the Site Manager or Project Manager., • Support handover and as-built documentation by ensuring civil works are completed and verified to the required standards.
