Role Overview Our client is a leading licensed supplier of socks, nightwear, and underwear to major UK supermarkets and high-street retailers. They're seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive growth across their retail portfolio, which includes UK supermarkets and high-street retailers. Based in Leicester - ideally 4 days a week in their office Salary: up to 40K based on experience Key Responsibilities 1. Account Management & Relationship Building • Manage day-to-day relationships with key wholesale clients (retailers, distributors, e-commerce partners), • Act as the main point of contact for all account-related matters, • Conduct regular meetings (in-person/virtual) to review performance and opportunities, • Build long-term partnerships to secure repeat business 2. Sales & Revenue Growth • Meet or exceed seasonal and annual sales targets, • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts, • Pitch new licensed collections and product ranges, • Negotiate pricing, margins, and commercial terms 3. Product & Range Planning • Work closely with design and buying teams to align ranges with customer needs, • Present seasonal collections and secure orders, • Use sales data and trends to inform product development 4. Licensing & Brand Compliance • Ensure all products meet licensor guidelines and approval processes, • Liaise with licensors and internal licensing teams when required, • Maintain brand integrity across all accounts 5. Order & Production Coordination • Oversee order placement, tracking, and fulfilment, • Coordinate with production, logistics, and merchandising teams, • Manage timelines to ensure on-time delivery 6. Market & Trend Analysis • Monitor competitor activity and retail trends, • Provide insights on consumer demand and licensing opportunities, • Proven experience in a senior commercial or sales leadership role within apparel, hosiery, or underwear., • Strong track record of working with major UK supermarkets and high-street retailers.
