As an apprentice, you’ll study towards and complete the relevant qualification with dedicated support from a mentor, including a minimum of 6 hours of study or off-the-job training per week. Role Overview You will work alongside an experienced Installer team to learn the skills required to fit and install windows and doors in residential properties. From understanding the workflow process and collecting materials from the depot to removing old windows and fitting new ones, you’ll gain practical, hands-on experience. Your learning will be supported by off-the-job training to build your knowledge and skills. What You’ll Be Doing Assisting the Installer Team with removing and fitting windows and doors. Liaising with the local depot and warehouse to check lead times and collect stock. Learning and applying Health and Safety practices on and off-site. Working on-site at customers’ premises.
