Location: Brooklyn, NY Position Type: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive Salary (Based on Experience) About the Building: We are seeking an experienced and reliable Superintendent for a, high-end 115-unit residential building in Brooklyn. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with repairs, maintenance, and daily building operations. Responsibilities: - Handle all types of repairs , including plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance. and plaster and paint. - Oversee and manage building cleanliness and ensure garbage removal is done properly. - Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of building systems. - Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and emergencies. - Supervise any outside contractors or vendors working on the property. - Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations. - Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance work. Qualifications: - Prior experience as a Superintendent or similar building maintenance role, ideally in a large multifamily property . - Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems . - Ability to work independently and handle emergencies efficiently. - Must be hands-on, reliable, and detail-oriented . must speak English - Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with tenants. - Legally authorized to work in the U.S. - Competitive pay based on experience. - Opportunity to work in a high-end, well-maintained building. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help us reimagine self-storage for the modern urban environment. You’ll work closely with leadership to conceptualize, design, and develop new self-storage sites throughout NYC and beyond. Role Description This is a full-time Mechanic Electrician role located in NY and requires the individual to be on-site as we do travel throughout the borough (Manhattan, queens, Brooklyn & Jersey). As a Lead Electrician you will also be involved in testing electrical panels and troubleshooting problems. Qualifications - Extensive experience as an Electrician, with experience leading a team or supervising others - Thorough knowledge of electrical code. - Experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting tools and equipment - Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and managerial skills with the ability to lead a team - Compliance with all safety regulations and standards - High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate Degree or certification in Electrical Technology preferred. Must be able to read prints, Bend all types of Pipe and run all size wires, must be able to terminate on electrical panels and know Electrical Codes. MUST HAVE HAND TOOLS. Must be able to work with limited supervision and be able to work with customers on a daily basis to provide project updates.
