Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Residential Services Manager, the Intermittent Residential Advocate is an essential support to the Residential Services team by providing intermittent, as-needed coverage at WEAVE’s confidential safehouse. WEAVE’s team of Residential Services staff are critical to supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and sex trafficking by providing safe, clean, accessible, and welcoming environments in our residential programs. This team is the backbone of our primary service of providing shelter to victims and their families. They create a nurturing and secure atmosphere, foster community, and provide in the moment emotional support or emergency supplies so that victims can live in a calm, supportive place that gives them space to heal.
