We are looking for a licensed, experienced, on-site, full-time veterinary technician to join our team and help us fulfill our mission of providing a stress-free, fear-free, and more holistic environment for the veterinary experience. This is a full-time position with benefits. Currently, we see patients only on weekdays. After-hour emergencies are referred to local emergency practices. Our hours of operation are typically from 8 am to 5 pm. We see approximately 8-10 patients a day so we have a very comfortably paced yet productive practice environment. Benefits: SIgn On BONUS!! Competitive hourly rate (starting rate commensurate with experience) but ranges from 24-34$/hour. A two-week payperiod is utilized and direct deposit is encouraged. Group Medical and Vision Care: After two months of employment you are eligible to participate in our group plan which covers 50% of your premium for medical and 100% of your premium for vision. Currently coverage is through Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Opportunities for professional growth and continuing education: After one year of full-time employment you will receive up to $1000 towards continuing education and have free-access to Vetgirl, VIN and many other veterinary education resources while in the clinic. Paid time off and paid holidays: PTO, vacation time, sick and annual leave all are equivalent which allows you to use PTO in any manner desired. PTO is accrued after 6 months of full-time employment. After one year of full-time employment, you will be granted three 8-hour holidays which cannot be carried over. Veterinary Care Credits (VCC): An additional benefit we offer is after 6 months of employment a full-time employee accumulates points/dollars earned at each pay period for products and services for their pets at the rate of 20 credits/dollars per payperiod.
