Position Summary A growing, innovation-driven organization in the regulated healthcare/life sciences sector is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to support its legal and compliance function. This role will work under the direction and supervision of one or more licensed Attorneys, consistent with the American Bar Association definition of a Paralegal. The position plays a key role in commercial contract management, regulatory documentation, corporate governance, and day-to-day legal operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings hands-on experience with drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing commercial agreements through contract lifecycle management (CLM) processes. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring five days per week in the office. Key Responsibilities Contract Management • Assist Attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining templates for NDAs, commercial agreements, vendor agreements, rebate agreements, clinical trial agreements, consulting agreements, and other contracts., • Support contract negotiation processes by coordinating with internal stakeholders and, as needed, external parties., • Track contract lifecycles, including deadlines, renewals, approvals, and amendments., • Maintain contract logs and ensure adherence to established routing and approval procedures., • Perform contract comparisons, revisions, and proofreading for accuracy and consistency., • Assist with implementation and ongoing administration of document management systems (DMS) and contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools., • Draft correspondence and other legal documents under Attorney supervision., • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervising Attorneys., • Regulatory and Compliance Support, • Assist with preparation and management of regulatory filings and documentation related to product approvals and submissions., • Maintain records to ensure compliance with applicable healthcare and medical device regulations (e.g., FDA, EU MDR, ISO standards)., • Support tracking and implementation of evolving compliance requirements, including transparency and reporting obligations., • Contribute to compliance tracking, documentation control, and process optimization initiatives., • Corporate Governance, • Support corporate filings and maintain corporate records, including minute books and governance documentation., • Assist with preparation of board and committee materials, resolutions, and related documentation., • General Legal and Administrative Support, • Conduct legal research related to healthcare regulation, intellectual property, employment matters, and other relevant topics., • Maintain strict confidentiality and support data security across legal processes., • Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, maintaining files, and internal communications., • Support internal training initiatives and policy development efforts. Required Qualifications • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience., • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a legal environment; experience within life sciences, healthcare, or a regulated industry strongly preferred., • Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, and managing commercial contracts., • Experience supporting contract lifecycle management (CLM) processes and working with document management systems., • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail., • Excellent proofreading and document control capabilities., • Ability to work under Attorney supervision, take direction, and adapt to shifting priorities., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal operations tools. • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program.
