This includes: * Serving as a welcoming and informative contact for prospective student-athletes and their families interested in our athletic offerings. * Participate and present at middle schools, open houses, recruitment fairs, and community events to showcase our athletic programs. * Developing and maintaining relationships with local middle school athletic programs and community sports organizations. * Collaborating with the admissions team to highlight athletic opportunities and successes in recruitment materials. Qualifications * A Bachelor's degree is preferred, ideally in Sports Management, Education, or a related field. * Previous experience in athletic administration, coaching, or sports management, preferably at the high school level, demonstrating a capacity for leadership. * Demonstrated commitment to the academic success of student-athletes. * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and independently. * Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and familiarity with athletic scheduling software is a plus. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. * Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by athletic schedules. * Knowledge of PSAL regulations and the New York City athletic landscape is highly desirable. * A passion for youth development through athletics and a commitment to fostering a positive school culture. * Background Check * Please inform NCHS if you are a part of any key organizations and programs, such as NFHS, ICF, or BCC. * CPR Certification * First Aide Certification * Concussion Management * Child Abuse and Maltreatment * DASA Certification
