We are seeking an Analyst, Project Finance & Financial Modeling to join our Finance & Capital Markets/ Portfolio Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for support financial modeling, project-level financings, and portfolio management analytics across Jupiter Powers standalone battery energy storage portfolio. The role offers hands-on exposure to battery storage project finance, including debt and tax equity structures, and close collaboration with internal teams supporting assets through construction and operations. This is an execution-oriented role for someone who enjoys building models, understanding financing mechanics, and collaborating cross-functionally to support complex infrastructure projects.. This role will be based out of our Houston, TX office and is subject to our Companys return-to-office policy which currently requires a minimum of three days a week in the office. Key Responsibilities Financial Modeling & Analysis • Build, maintain, and update project finance financial models, including construction and term debt cash flows, • Perform DSCR, liquidity, reserve, and restricted payment calculations, • Update models for loan draws, funding events, amendments, and term conversions, • Assist with reconciling modeled cash flows to actual results in coordination with Accounting and Asset Management, • Prepare and support loan draw requests for construction costs, interest, fees, and reserves, • Track sources & uses, funding schedules, and draw activity, • Support ongoing financing compliance and covenant monitoring, • Assist in preparing lender reporting, compliance certificates, and related deliverables, • Support portfolio-level financial and performance analytics across operating and construction-stage battery storage assets, • Assist with portfolio cash flow forecasting, liquidity tracking, and variance analysis, • Aggregate project-level data for portfolio reporting, internal dashboards, and management updates, • Support analysis related to financing compliance, distributions, and capital allocation under guidance from senior team members, • Collaborate closely with Legal, Accounting, Asset Management, Origination, and Procurement teams, • Provide analytical and execution support to senior finance team members in interactions with lenders, investors, and third-party advisors, • Review third-party reports (Independent Engineer reports, cost certifications, etc.) to assess financial and compliance implications, • Assist in coordinating inputs, data requests, and documentation across internal teams to support funding and reporting activities, • Contribute to the standardization and continuous improvement of financial modeling, loan draw, and compliance processes Requirements • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, • 35 years of experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or power project finance, • Experience working with project finance financial models, • Understanding of project-level debt structures and financing mechanics, • Strong Excel skills (integrated models, cash flow analysis, sensitivities), • Experience with battery storage and/or utility-scale solar projects, • Familiarity with tax equity structures (partnership flip, back-leverage), • Exposure to loan draws, covenant compliance, or financing closings, • Experience at an IPP, developer, infrastructure fund, advisory firm, or project finance lender Power considers a number of factors when determining starting compensation such as the position requirements and the candidate's qualifications.
