Primary Responsibilities • Patient Consultations: Conduct thorough patient consultations, taking detailed medical histories, performing comprehensive physical examinations, and assessing patients' overall health status., • Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, prescribing medications, therapies, and other interventions as necessary., • Preventive Care: Implement preventive healthcare strategies, including routine screenings, vaccinations, and lifestyle counseling, to promote disease prevention and early detection., • Chronic Disease Management: Manage patients with chronic conditions, develop personalized care plans, monitor disease progression, and adjust treatment regimens as needed to improve patient outcomes., • Health Promotion and Education: Educate patients about healthy lifestyle choices, disease management, and self-care practices to empower them to actively participate in their healthcare., • Referrals and Coordination: Collaborate with specialists and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient referrals, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care for complex medical cases., • Electronic Health Records (EHR): Document all patient interactions, assessments, treatments, and care plans accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR) system., • Health Advocacy: Advocate for patients' healthcare needs, ensuring that they receive appropriate and timely medical services and resources., • Continuity of Care: Establish and maintain strong doctor-patient relationships, providing ongoing care, follow-up, and support as needed., • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, adherence to evidence-based guidelines, and clinical audits to enhance patient safety and care standards., • Professional Development: Stay abreast of medical advancements, research, and best practices to continuously improve medical knowledge and clinical skills.
