Overview: P448 is a handmade Italian sneaker brand grounded craft, comfort, and culture. The FP&A Strategy Lead will play a key role in supporting strategic financial planning and analysis across global business divisions, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. This individual will create FP&A functions alongside the Finance Manager and CEO for the global team to help drive the business forward by providing timely analysis, accurate forecasts and clear reporting of our financial and business performance, to share with our cross-functional teams. This individual must be action-driven, have a high understanding of P&L and profitability analysis, highly analytical, collaborative and results-driven to join our global team. The ideal candidate resides in Austin, Texas and will be one of the first hires in the new US HQ. Salary Range: $125,000+, depending on experience. Core Responsibilities: • Strategic Financial Planning and Forecasting, • Build and refine FP&A functions with the Finance Manager and CEO to support global financial strategy., • Develop and manage comprehensive financial models, including forecasts, budgets, and other strategic reporting., • Provide insight into financial drivers to support decision-making across global divisions., • Financial Reporting and Analysis, • Prepare and analyze monthly consolidated P&L statements, balance sheets, margin analyses, and cash flow statements., • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting short and long-term performance., • Deliver accurate and insightful global financial report packages for leadership., • Performance Monitoring and Cross-Functional Collaboration:, • Monitor and report on key operational and financial KPIs., • Track and evaluate performance versus budgets, forecasts, and strategic goals., • Partner with marketing, operations, and product divisions to interpret financial results and drive performance improvement., • Collaborate with channel leaders to assess KPIs, refine strategies and support data-driven decisions with an insight on risk/opportunity analysis for margin enhancement. Secondary Responsibilities: • Financial Systems and Process Improvement, • Support the development and implementation of FP&A tools, systems, and processes., • Implement best practices for data integrity and process consistency across global teams., • Compliance, • Partner with accounting to ensure alignment between financial planning and actual reporting., • Thought Partner to CEO and Finance leadership on strategic planning and financial planning /budgeting., • Special Projects, • Lead or support special projects as assigned, such as market expansion analysis, pricing strategy evaluation, investment appraisals or any additional tasks which may be assigned by the Finance Manager or the CEO. Skills and qualifications: • Education & Experience, • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other related field., • Years of experience: 5+ years in FP&A, corporate finance or Accounting., • Experience in consumer goods, footwear or retail industries are preferred., • Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus., • Analytical & Technical Skills, • Strong command of P&L management, cash flow, and profitability analysis., • Advance proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, scenario modeling, macros) and financial software such as NetSuite., • Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic and detail-oriented mindset., • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)., • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights., • Interpersonal & Leadership Skills, • Strong business partnering and communication skills; able to present complex data to non-financial team members and stakeholders., • Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working cross-functionally with other business divisions., • Ability to work independently and in a team environment., • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
