Job Description Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Marketing & Events Manager Work Schedule: 8am- 5pm Monday-Friday Work Location: Corporate Office – Greensboro, NC Position Summary: The Marketing & Events Coordinator plays a key role in delivering exceptional experiences that reflect the Hoffman Family of Companies’ commitment to customers, partners, and employee-owners. This position is responsible for planning and executing events, coordinating training programs, and supporting marketing initiatives that strengthen relationships and reinforce our brand across the Southeast. The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, and energized by bringing people together. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and take pride in creating polished, memorable experiences that support business growth. Duties and Responsibilities: Event Planning & Execution (Primary Focus) • Plan, coordinate, and execute customer, partner, and internal events including seminars, tradeshows, training sessions, sales meetings, and employee celebrations., • Manage event logistics such as venue coordination, catering, travel, invitations, audiovisual needs, registration, and onsite support., • Ensure seamless event execution from planning through follow-up, maintaining a high standard of attendee experience., • Coordinate continuing education events, including registration, documentation, surveys, and compliance with licensing requirements., • Support manufacturer training programs, including scheduling, registration, payment processing, and event hosting., • Coordinate corporate events at the Greensboro headquarters and assist with company initiatives such as campaigns and community engagement efforts., • Maintain event calendars, guest lists, RSVP tracking, and post-event reporting., • Assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, social, and print channels., • Support creation and coordination of marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency across the Hoffman Family of Companies., • Assist with blog content and social media posts that highlight company activities, expertise, and culture., • Assist with inventory management of promotional items and company store materials., • Support tradeshow preparation, including shipping, booth coordination, and materials readiness., • Prepare and coordinate new hire welcome materials, including assembling and managing swag kits that create a positive and consistent first-day experience across the Hoffman Family of Companies., • Maintain inventory of onboarding materials and branded items, ensuring offices are stocked and aligned with brand standards., • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred., • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities., • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset., • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving., • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners., • Positive attitude, adaptability, and a sense of humor., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with marketing or event tools is a plus., • Standing: Frequently, • Walking: Frequently, • Sitting: Frequently, • Handling/Fingering: Frequently, • Bending: Frequently, • Pushing/Pulling 12 lbs. or less: Frequently, • Lifting/Carrying 10 lbs. or less: Frequently, • Lifting/Carrying 11-20 lbs.: Occasionally, • Reaching Outward: Occasionally, • Reaching Above Shoulder: Occasionally, • Squatting/Kneeling: Occasionally The work environment at Hoffman & Hoffman, Inc. is an open office environment in a controlled atmosphere building.
