This role demands a dynamic individual who is well-versed in managing all phases of construction projects, from initial planning and foundation laying to the final stages of completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, across various sectors including grocery, quick service restaurants (QSR), automotive, retail, TI, remodels, and ground-up construction. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Superintendent, your core responsibilities will include: 1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle and ensuring completion within the agreed timeframe and budget. 2. Managing day-to-day operational aspects of construction projects, including the coordination of material and labor, site safety, quality control, and communication with project stakeholders. 3. Leading and motivating the construction team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. 4. Liaising with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure all projects are executed to the highest standards. 5. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to building codes and safety regulations. 6. Anticipating and resolving any issues that may affect the timeline, budget, or quality of the project. 7. Preparing and presenting progress reports to stakeholders, providing comprehensive updates on project status. Qualifications: The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial ground-up remodel and TI projects. 2. Extensive experience working on projects in various sectors including grocery, QSR, automotive, retail, TI, remodels, and ground-up construction. 3. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines. 4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve project goals. 5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail. 6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders. 7. Proficiency in using construction management software and other relevant computer applications. 8. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
