If you are able to grow your cluster to at least 11 families, this will increase your estimated hours to 3.0 per week and 161 hours per full year. The estimated yearly compensation for a cluster this size is $9,300. As an independent contractor you are paid monthly for the deliverables submitted for the prior month. The compensation range listed above is an estimated yearly figure that is based on the current number of clients (Active Count) in your area. The hourly rate equivalent of per deliverable pay structure is approximately $60 but given the fluidity of your family and Au Pair cluster size, this figure can fluctuate based on client changes during the year. This year time frame is a typical duration of a family’s placement with an Au Pair and provides you with the full experience of supporting both parties, from start to finish. To assist you with this learning process, your training is separated into two major groupings. Group one occurs over the first two months: this new hire training and on-boarding process helps you learn about Go Au Pair, the Au Pair program, the rules, and regulations families follow and how to perform ongoing LSC tasks to support your area. This paid training is approximately 4 hours per week and includes reading, watching videos, self-exercises, and meeting with training personnel. During the first month, you will only be responsible for completing the training while your training mentor will provide support and service to your area until you’re finished – at which point the cluster will be handed off to you. The second group of training is a 10-week program and occurs approximately 6 months after you’ve started. This training focuses on teaching you about the matching process and how you can help families find the right Au Pair. An employee in this class will accurately test soils and perform 3rd party inspections following JDS directives and standards, and accurately record test results. The Geotechnical Engineering Technician I is expected to act as an ambassador for the JDS brand. Primary Responsibilities and Expectations Soils & 3rd Party Inspections • Makes site visits and communicates with clients. Basic plan reading and interpretation skills • Utilizes equipment to mechanically test the soil.
