Job Title: Service Navigator \n Reports To: Drop-In Center & Outreach Lead \n Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt, 40 hr \n Supervision: None \n Location: The Table Sacramento, in-person \n Salary Range: $54,000 to $57,500 \n \n SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS \n The Service Navigator is responsible for greeting, conducting intakes, needs assessments, and providing orientations, tours, and service navigation for youth and adult survivors of human trafficking and those at risk of exploitation for 3Strands Global Foundation and The Table – Sacramento, a drop-in center. This position is responsible for creating a culturally responsive, safe, and welcoming environment where clients feel safe, heard, and respected. The Service Navigator's duties include working closely with the local community, attending outreach events, and working with community partners to connect clients with needed services and resources both internally and within the community. \n \n COMPANY OVERVIEW \n 3Strands Global Foundation (3SGF) is a California-based nonprofit with a mission to Prevent, Empower, Unite—working together to end human trafficking. To explore our programs and outcomes, visit our most recent Impact Report. \n \n SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES \n Client Support: \n\n • Collaborate with Intake and Care Coordinator on intakes and assessments for new youth and adult clients/participants, be welcoming and supportive, and provide a tour and overview of the center and services offered.\n, • Support with client events including planning, set up, and facilitation.\n, • Provide direct assistance to clients at The Table, including access to food and personal hygiene supplies, clothing, showers, laundry, lockers, computers, gift cards/bus passes for transportation assistance, and other services that are available.\n, • Provide clients with referrals to community resources and services.\n, • Complete Individual Service Plans with clients.\n, • Assist clients in setting and achieving goals, and provide encouragement, support, and the resources needed to help them achieve independence and self-sufficiency.\n, • Create a safe and supportive environment for all youth and adult clients.\n, • Clean, maintain, and monitor safety in the building, and order supplies as needed.\n, • Meet with the team to collaborate in case coordination with clients and ensure clients' needs are met.\n, • Keep the wishlist/donations needs list for The Table up to date. \n, • As a member of The Table Team, recommend changes for the betterment of the organization's programs and help ensure programming is grounded in best practices for serving survivors of human trafficking and those at-risk of exploitation in our community.\n, • Order, request donations for, and maintain adequate food supplies for clients at the center, ensuring items are fresh, well-stocked, and meet client needs.\n, • Conduct regular inventory of the clothing boutique, food pantry, and hygiene item supplies, tracking stock levels and identifying gaps or needs in advance.\n, • Other duties as may be assigned.\n\n \n General Administrative Functions: \n\n • Follow the established program process to maintain accurate and timely case file documentation to reflect the needs of the individual client, including the maintenance of clear and concise case notes, documenting services provided, and completing all required documentation to ensure client progress is documented and accurately tracked.\n, • Complete required monitoring and evaluation documents, case notes, and qualitative interviews among clients to monitor their progress in desired program outcomes.\n, • Participate in all program meetings, staff meetings, strategic onsite, and development activities and events, and fully engage as a member of the 3Strands Global Foundation team.\n, • Track time and program expenses and mileage with MileIQ to ensure accurate budgeting and grant reporting.\n, • Assist with grant reporting on program objectives and accomplishments.\n, • Complete invoicing as needed.\n, • Ensure the confidentiality of clients is upheld.\n, • Comply with all policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency; and\n, • Other related duties as assigned.\n\n Development Responsibilities: \n\n • Establish relationships with community-based organizations and coordinate collaborative service delivery – including referrals, events, workshops, and more.\n, • Conduct regular outreach, canvassing, and tabling.\n, • Market 3Strands Global Foundation (3SGF) partnerships to develop community partnerships.\n, • Attend outreach and networking events as needed.\n, • Work to raise the level of awareness of 3SGF's work by networking with partners, potential funders, colleagues, and community members.\n, • Conduct outreach to community partners, businesses, and organizations to build and strengthen relationships that support The Table's mission.\n, • Cultivate and steward relationships with donors and partners to secure consistent, ongoing donations of food, clothing, hygiene items, and other supplies for The Table.\n\n \n QUALIFICATIONS \n\n • 2+ years of experience working with vulnerable populations, including youth and/or adults, or in the social services or anti-trafficking sector.\n, • Trauma-informed and harm reduction approach when working with clients (if not, must be willing to receive training).\n, • Experience with outreach efforts and cultivating relationships.\n, • Needs assessment and triaging skills to connect youth and adult clients with needed services and resources.\n, • Knowledge about services and resources available in the Sacramento community, out of county, and out of state (if the client wants to relocate).\n, • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; to make presentations and respond to inquiries by management, team, vendors, and/or community partners.\n, • Cultivate and maintain a broad range of working relationships with the team internally and externally.\n, • Intermediate to advanced computer literacy including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.\n, • Ability to establish priorities and solve a wide range of business problems.\n, • Demonstrated customer service, client-centered care, problem-solving, and analytical skills; flexibility to respond to changing work priorities and strong multi-tasking skills.\n\n \n DESIRED SKILLS \n\n • Lived experience as a survivor of human trafficking, sexual exploitation, gender based violence, or related forms of trauma preferred, though not required.\n, • Bilingual.\n, • High facility with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Suite, Monday.com, Salesforce, and other software and technology.\n, • Attention to detail and ability to organize and track large amounts of information efficiently and accurately.\n, • Sound judgment, ability to take initiative and provide constructive input/feedback, and analytical and problem-solving skills.\n, • Disciplined with priorities and works well under deadline pressures.\n, • Professional presentation in demeanor and written and oral communication.\n, • High level of honesty and integrity.\n, • Strong computer skills and ability to adapt to new technology.\n, • Ability to work in a high ambiguity environment;
