Job DescriptionWarehouse Material Handler – 2nd Shift ($18.50/hr) Location: (Insert Location) Shift: 2nd Shift Pay: $18.50 per hour Experience Level: Entry Level (Training Provided) Position Overview We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Warehouse Material Handlers on 2nd shift. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, learning new equipment, and being part of a fast‑paced production environment. No prior metals or forklift experience is required — we provide full training and certification. Training Schedule Before transitioning to your regular shift, you will complete 3–4 weeks of paid training, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM. Training includes: • Learning different types of metals, • Operating overhead cranes, • Operating sit‑down forklifts, • Equipment training and certification through Alro, • Hands‑on training facilitated by Marcus, Training ManagerDaily Responsibilities, • Participate in a team meeting at the start of each shift, • Pull materials within the warehouse using a sit‑down forklift, • Measure materials to ensure correct order selection, • Set up and program saw equipment, • Make initial cuts and verify measurements, • Complete full cutting orders, • Deburr, clean, and package metal materials, • Operate heavy equipment including cranes, forklifts, and processing machinery, • Lift up to 75 lbs as neededWhat Makes You Successful, • Strong attention to detail, • Willingness to learn different materials and processes, • Ability to work in a warehouse/production environment, • Comfort with physical labor and lifting, • Reliability and teamworkPreferred (Not Required) Skills, • Experience in the metals or steel industry, • Sit‑down forklift experience, • Warehouse operations, • Forklift operation, • Measuring and inspection, • General labor, • Loading/unloading, • Production and manufacturing This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boca Raton, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
